Sectional Meet Wrap Up

IMG_5611If you were not there to witness it first hand, you would not believe what you watched today with our young team plus 3 Seniors.  Highest finish at Sectionals since before 2007.

Friday Night, Emma M. dove to a personal best in diving and finished 8th.  Here score is the 13th best in School History.

The Medley Relay finished 4th just .16 off the school record.

Amelia just missed her best time in the 200 Free and Amanda had her season best in the 200 IM.

In the 50 Free, Kaitlyn M moved into 5th place and became just the 5th person in school history to go under 25 seconds.  Kaitlyn C moved into 7th all-time in the event.

Caroline dropped 3.73 seconds in a lifetime best in the 100 Fly and then Grace moved into a tie for 7th place all-time with her 1:01.06.

In the 100 Freestyle Emma S when a season-best and Maddie broke the school record with her 52.81.  A record that was set back in 1992.

Our Distance Diva rocked the 500 freestyle.  Amelia moved into 11th all-time in school history and Erin into 13th all-time in school history.

And then a moment that will go down into history books for a long long time.  The 200 Free Relay of Kaitlyn C, Maddie, Kaitlyn M, and Amanda SMASHED the school record by going 1:39.27 and finished 3rd.  Kaitlyn C’s lead off jumped her into 6th all-time in the 50 Freestyle as well.

The 100 backstroke has Molly moved into 18th All-time in school History and Kaitlyn M. moved into 8th all time.  Kaitlyn C became the 5th swimmer to go under a minute and is now tied for 2nd in school history.

Ava had a lifetime best in the 100 Breast.  Hannah moved into 10th all time and Amanda moved into 5th all time becoming the 6th swimmer under 1:10.  Maddie broke Coach Bri’s school record that she set in 2010.

The 400 Free Realy was led off with Grace and her lead off split was good for 8th all-time in school History.  Amelia, Molly, and Emme S. brought the relay home in the best time for the season.

Best Finish in a long time.  3 School records.  17 season or lifetime bests. Tons of performances that moved people onto OR up on the All-Time list. Big Heads.
