Let us not confuse Coach’s pre-meet statements about expecting “good swims” tonight. The work we put in and the attention to detail we have had for the last 8 practices was very good. But good swims does not always mean a drop in time.
Sometimes when the intensity at practice is such as it was, just doing every technically correct constitutes a good swim. You should not get worried about actual time at this point of the season. You must make sure you are doing your best to do everything correct during the race.
Put trust in the system and keep doing things right at practice.
